Snowy Vitberget – A cross-country skiing destination for everyone!

The Vitberget outdoor recreation area, centrally located in Skellefteå, is one of Sweden’s leading destinations for cross-country skiing. As the name suggests, it is a place where winter arrives early and stays for a long time.

50 km of world-class trails, for elite athletes and recreational skiers

Vitberget offers top-class ski trails that are perfect for both training and enjoyment. Here, elite skiers as well as recreational skiers can choose between challenging World Cup–standard courses or easier loops with fewer elevation gains.

The trails are groomed daily for both skate and classic skiing, and you will find clearly signposted loops ranging from 1.5 to 10 km, with several convenient access points around the mountain.
