Hamnskär, named Lotsskäret on the map, was previously a lots station. Here you can add to a floating bridge. If you do not have access to a boat, you can take a boat or boat taxi from Furuögrund’s marina.
In the old lottery house you can rent a room with two beds and in the red cabin (annexet) there are five beds divided into two rooms. There is no electricity and there is no fire in the cabins so in the cooling weather it can be good to have a sleeping bag with it (covering and pillows available).
There is no running water on the island, so drinking water takes you from the mainland. At one of the three barbecues, cook your food, or on your own storm kitchen.
