Since 2016, Horses of Taiga has been offering riding experiences for those who want to discover the northern wilderness on safe and well-trained Icelandic horses.
Just 200 kilometers from the Arctic Circle, you ride through the Swedish taiga, a serene, wild, and nature-close environment where the chance of encountering reindeer or moose is greater than meeting other people.
They offer tours from one hour to several days, always in small groups of no more than five people. Tours are led by an experienced riding guide and are conducted with great respect for nature, animals, and the local population.
Sustainable tourism is a given for them. Therefore, they work with small groups, local collaborations, and, on longer tours, ecological and personally prepared meals.
